Sridevi connection in ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’
We all knew Sridevi was the heroine of ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’, the first psyco thriller in Tamil. The second one is ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ which is releasing this Friday on February 18. Whenever ‘Nadunisi Naaygal referred ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ is also mentioned being the first in the genre.
But the Sridevi connection doesn’t stop at that. Actor Deva who is debuting with Gautham Menon's ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ is a close relative of the veteran actress.
How? He is the brother of actress Maheswari who is a nephew of Sridevi. Maheswari who? She was the heroine of films like ‘Karuthamma’ and ‘Ullasam’.
Deva plays an Assistant Commissioner of Police who is after the serial killer in the film. He first assisted the director and then started doing small roles in his films like Pachaikili Muthucharam and Varanam Aayiram. Now with a full fledged role under his director, Deva is thrilled.
